“Dulcet Look” is born from a personal struggle to find a cosy shop with quality, warm, exceptional, different and real things. I’ve been always obsessed with new ideas, especially everything what is handmade and most importantly- unique!
In collaboration with different individuals and artists, combining ideas and talents, I have a pleasure to create and present to you handmade and exceptional gifts and interior details which are cosy and beautiful, useful and practical and have a storey behind them- not forgetting high quality.
The wish and idea to open this tiny shop was born around 9 years ago, while after living couple of years in Great Britain I had a road trip with my beloved beagle Tiramissu throw the Europe. But of-course the biggest influence to “who” and “the way” I am and see the world – after all made my family…
I come from ceramics family- my parents have a tiny ceramic manufacture company, creating miniature ceramic fairy candle houses, they are known as “Unikalus Vaizdas”; I had an amazing grandparents: grandpa- “such a creative man with golden hands, mister-fixer/do it yourself/nothing is impossible” and he was always saying: only a rich person can afford to buy bad quality shoes; and grandma: our never stopping busy-bee! She was passionate about her veggie-flower garden, basically about everything related with nature and herbals (oh yeah and sope operas:D )- each cold we had, she was treating with scent-full herbal teas and natural bee honey, and all kinds of other natural remedies.
So this is me! I spent my childhood playing with flowers, frogs and snails, making mud pies and getting almost unwastable dirty; I sent my twenties studying and traveling, gathering my experience and here I am now- after all the travels and exploring, I am settling down, between the green fields of North Germany starting new stage of my life!
